The Continental Dancers Club began its life in 1977.

Following an Oktoberfest dance at the Mary E Sawyer Auditorium in La Crosse, which featured the Woody Herman Band, a dozen dancers met to talk about forming a dance club. 

 

In the next few weeks, this site will expand on the wonderful efforts by the dancers, who made all this history a reality.
